The London Fertility Centre set up the first UK egg donation program prior
to 1986 when the first pregnancy occurred. In March of 1987 a woman in
her mid 40's delivered healthy twins.

When Logan Centre was "conceived", Professor Ian Craft suggested using
the name of his late mother who died on 13th December 2001 as a suitable
name for this facility as she was an extremely charitable, kind and generous
woman always spreading goodness around and Professor Craft
considered it a suitable way of remembering her person.

In January 2002 the Egg Donation administrative base moved
from the main office at The London Fertility Centre into a
self-contained refurbished office suite located closeby on
Devonshire Street.
